Leaked Abortion Draft by the US Supreme Court Will Overturn Roe v. Wade Case

Justices confirm the authenticity of their draft abortion decision; however, it is not final yet.

The draft resolution first appeared in Politico, which states that the abortion overturn was primarily accepted by the conservative-dominated court. This decision cancels the legal force of the 1973 Roe v. Wade case, which postulates that the US Constitution protects abortion rights without excessive government restriction in the country.

According to its author, Judge Samuel Alito, the draft decision states that “there is no constitutional right to abortion.” The words were mentioned in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in Mississippi which prohibits abortions in the US.

The US Supreme court has started the investigation of the leakage source. A final decision on abortion rights in the US is expected by the end of June this year.
