Christopher G. Frey, Esq was born in Richmond Hill, Queens, N.Y. He moved to Clearwater, FL, and graduated from Clearwater Central Catholic HS. He has resided in the Tampa Bay area since May 1978. Chris lives in Hillsborough County, but practices throughout the State of Florida, including Pinellas, East Pasco, West Pasco, Hillsborough, Seminole, Orange, and Manatee Counties. Chris has four children, a son, and three daughters. Chris has always been active in the community. He has been a member of 3 School Advisory Councils, and sports leagues, where he coached football and soccer. Chris is active in the Florida, Hillsborough and Federal Bar Associations. He is a fromer Vice President of the Hernando County Bar Association. Mr. Frey has lectured on the law in various capacities and has assisted in teaching trial advocacy at the Stetson College of Law. Chris is affiliated with Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Habitat for Humanity, Rotary Club. Chris served as legal counsel for the United School Employees of Pasco union and is a certified attorney for the State of Florida Fraternal Order of Police, Florida State Labor Council, representing law enforcement officers in police-involved shootings, use of deadly force, and Internal Affairs investigations. Christopher was also a Critical Response Attorney for the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA). Mr. Frey has also served as a media consultant for numerous television, cable news, radio, and print media sources regarding Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law, and various other law-related topics. Mr. Frey has tried over 250 jury trials to verdict.
