Isaac Ortega is an Arizona native and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He grew up in the east valley and later served the citizens of Mesa as a police officer for thirteen years, working in several different capacities within the department. During his time as a police officer Isaac attended ASU where he received his B.A. in Political Science and Religious Studies graduating Summa Cum Laude. He continued his studies at Arizona State University where he completed both his J.D. and Master of Laws Degrees. After law school, he was admitted to the New Mexico and Arizona State Bars and United States District Courts for the Ninth Circuit. Isaac has personally represented hundreds of clients in all types of matters including immigration court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, USCIS, and the 9th Circuit. He has also translated his police experience into representation of clients who have been criminally charged. Isaac founded Ortega Law Group with his brother with the goal of helping individuals navigate the immigration process because, having had family go through the process, he knows firsthand how stressful it can be. Having worked as a police officer, Isaac believes that all individuals are entitled to fervent defense in court and police officers should be held accountable for their actions. In his free time Isaac enjoys traveling, training martial arts, and most of all, spending time with his family who supports him in his endeavors.
