Thomas James (also known as Thomas B. James) is a private practice attorney at the Law Office of Tom James in Cokato, Minnesota. He provides copyright and trademark registration and representation services, in addition to business law and appeals. Tom James is admitted to practice in Minnesota, the 8th and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is also authorized to represent clients nationwide in the U.S. Copyright Office (copyright registration), the U.S. Trademark Office (trademark registration), the Trademark Trials and Appeals Board (TTAB), and the Copyright Claims Board (CCB). Thomas James is the author of the nationally syndicated blog, "The Cokato Copyright Attorney." He is also the author of several books and law review articles, including the seminal "E-Commerce Law" and most recently, "IP Law for Non-IP Attorneys." The founder of Echion CLE, attorney Thomas James is a continuing legal education instructor as well as an instructor on legal topics for the general public.
